Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic IT company. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance in financial reporting. Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
3. Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to management for business growth and decision-making.
4. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
5. Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax audits to ensure compliance.
6. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and improving departmental functions.
Skills & Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the IT industry or related field.
3. Proficiency in finance-specific software, with a strong grasp of Excel and accounting platforms like QuickBooks or SAP.
4. Excellent analytical skills and a detailed-oriented mindset.
5. Strong understanding of GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is advantageous.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear financial reporting and discussions with non-finance teams.
